The newly merged Hogan Lovells and Slaughter and May could both win the greatest number of gongs at this year’s Lawyer Awards, having been jointly shortlisted in the most categories.
The shortlists for all 25 categories are revealed on pages 14-16 of this week’s issue, with Hogan Lovells and Slaughters both makingthe cut in six.
Teams from Hogan Lovells are in the running for the Infrastructure, Middle East and Pro Bono prizes, while the firm as a whole has been shortlisted for International Law Firm of the Year.
In addition, corporate lawyer Anna Mills has made it onto the Assistant of the Year list, while joint chief executive David Harris is up for Partner of the Year.
Harris joins Slaughters partner Nilufer von Bismarck on that list, with Slaughters also up in the Banking & Finance, Corporate, Litigation and Real Estate categories. Slaughters is also on the Law Firm of the Year list.
The winners will be announced at the Grosvenor House Hotel on 22 June.
