Hogan Lovells joins with BGE to plant trees as part of the ‘Trees for Public Health’ initiative

Hogan Lovells’ Baltimore office recently joined with Baltimore Gas and Electric Company (BGE) — a subsidiary of Hogan Lovells client Exelon Corporation — to help plant trees on the streets of Baltimore City.

On 18 October 2013, a team of Hogan Lovells and BGE volunteers worked with the Baltimore Tree Trust Initiative to plant 25 trees in McElderry Park, located in south-east Baltimore.

The Baltimore Tree Trust (BTT) started the ‘Trees for Public Health’ initiative in 2012, with a goal of planting approximately 800 trees by the end of 2015. There are approximately three to four plantings per season.
