This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
Hogan & Hartson’s London office has received one new partner in the US firm’s latest round of promotions.
Corporate finance lawyer Christopher Melville has been added to the partnership while Richard Kiddell has been promoted to the of counsel role in the firm’s litigation group.
Hogan London managing partner Gary Pegg said: “We're committed to growing the London office and recognising and rewarding talent is a critical part of our expansion plans. Even in the current economic climate you've to take a long-term approach.
"We'll continue to make strategic hires in 2009 to develop and win new business.”
Firmwide, Hogan promoted 11 to its partnership while 12 associates were made up to counsel. The firm’s Washington DC and Baltimore offices received the highest number of new partners with two each.
Four of the firm’s international offices all received promotions this year, with Berlin receiving a partner and a counsel, Hong Kong two counsel, London a partner and a counsel and Warsaw a counsel.
