Hill Dickinson has won a competitive tender to advise on a series of innovative pieces of work for independent radio producers.
The firm has been appointed as the official lawyers for the Radio Independents Group (RIG) Law Scheme, and will draw up the first ever unified set of standard contracts for the independent radio industry.
Hill Dickinson will also advise on a variety of issues on a more ad hoc basis.
RIG members, which include top independent production companies such as Celador and Rowan Atkinson-owned Tiger Aspect, will pay £295 each to join the scheme, giving them unlimited access to the contracts.
Media and IP head Philip Woods led the tender process. He said that the appointment marked Hill Dickinson’s ability to handle instructions across the media spectrum.
