Hill Dickinson snaps up insurance partner

North West firm Hill Dickinson has bagged a new partner for its industrial diseases team from insurance specialists Plexus Law.

Stephen Walsh joins the London office of Hill Dickinson in order to build up the firm’s industrial disease specialism. He will be working to advise insurers and self-insured companies on litigation in this niche area.

Walsh’s past experience includes winning a case in the House of Lords for the employers of a milkman who sued after getting frostbite due to digging his way out of a snowdrift in company-issued steel-capped boots.

Prior to Plexus Law, Walsh was a partner at fellow insurance specialists Berrymans Lace Mawer.
