Hill Dickinson boosts corporate practice with Hammonds hire

Hill Dickinson has grown its corporate team with the appointment of Hammonds partner Ian Gillis.

Gillis will be based in the firm’s Manchester office rather than its Liverpool headquarters and will focus on both public and private corporate finance work.

Prior to joining Hill Dickinson he was a partner at Hammonds for two years and before that was at DWF for 11 years.

David Wareing, head of Hill Dickinson’s company and commercial practice, commented: “Ian has a proven track record in the Manchester market and will significantly complement our existing resource. This appointment underlines Hill Dickinson’s continuing commitment to investing in quality people as it continues to expand its Manchester office”.

Gillis added:  “The corporate team’s well respected with a strong North West focus and I’m looking forward to growing the team with my fellow partners.”
