Reply Link Anonymous 28 January 2013 at 14:16 Any news on the Insurance Team from the Birmingham Office ?? Why does nobody want to take them on ?? Reply Link Anonymous 28 January 2013 at 16:36 Why would anybody want this work? Defendant insurance work has to be the worst paid `commercial’ work going, with client loyalty only as good as next year’s fee negotiations. Reply Link Anonymous 28 January 2013 at 17:58 Because, despite their best efforts, HD are still primarily an insurance firm Reply Link FIG 29 January 2013 at 01:21 My bet is on Kennedys ( third attempt to acquire a serious bolt-on). However Weightmans equally in the mix, and what happened to Parabis/Plexus making significant major bolt-ons!, following their PE Investment? Greenwoods are apparently about to “merge” with Parabis, which is likely to be the only proper acquisition they make post PE Investment. Parabis will just pick off very small partners and their teams,to join them without making a wholesale proper “acquisition” of an Insurance firm.
