High pass rate for first LPC exams

Eighty-five per cent of students have passed the first Legal Practice Course run by the College of Law. More than 700 of the 3,339 who took the examination achieved distinctions and a further 1,549 were awarded commendations. Richard Holbrook, chairman of the College of Law's board of management, says the high pass rate is a reflection of the calibre of students on the course.
