Germany’s Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek has announced the death of its founder and senior partner Hans Günter Heuking.
Heuking passed away on Friday (7 December) aged 74.
He founded the firm in Düsseldorf in 1971 with Wolfgang Kühn. Together they expanded the firm to its current size of more than 250 lawyers across nine offices.
Kühn said in a statement: “We’re mourning the passing of an excellent lawyer, an exemplary partner and colleague and most of all a wonderful human being. We extend our sincere sympathies to his family.”
