    So, another year where record profits and tunover will happen (or at least match last years records), despite the forthcoming slowdown. It also appears that trainee and lawyer pay rises, whilst not quite so rosy, will hold up well due to the war for legal talent. So where will the belt tightening that will be needed for the slowdown start? Well it's the time of year when support and secretarial staff get their pay rises ... My guess; Bread and circuses for some, bread and water for others; perhaps The Lawyer could think about getting some of those figures public?
