Pinsent Curtis has commenced a headhunting drive for its London office with the recruitment of Lovell White Durrant's assistant solicitor David Levin as a corporate partner.
The announcement of the move comes just two weeks after the firm revealed that it had poached Linklaters & Paines litigation partner, Graeme Brister, to replace Paul Downing as head of its London office.
Pinsents' head of marketing Meirion Jones said the search for new partners to build up the practice would not cease in the month-and-a-half gap between now and Brister's date for joining the firm.
He added: "We are planning to build a big-ticket corporate practice in London, that's where the biggest growth will come from.
"It's inevitable that it will eventually overtake our Birmingham head office as being our primary focus."
