Anglo-Scottish firm HBJ Gateley Wareing has launched a shipping and transport group at the firm’s Glasgow office.
The Glasgow operation will provide advice to the firm's existing client base in the West of Scotland.
The move into Glasgow follows on the back of the hire of Birmingham-based logistics and transport partner Buddug Williams from Shakespeares in January.
The Glasgow team will be led by associate Rose Marie O'Donnell, who said: "We have significant experience advising clients in the West of Scotland and the new location will be instrumental in meeting their needs, particularly as the Scottish shipping, transport and logistics sector is in a period of substantial growth."
Shipping and Transport head James Lowe said: “This move comes at the right time in our development as our clients regularly require advice on a local, national and international basis. The new office in Glasgow and the expansion of our expertise in Birmingham will allow us to service this need.”
