Welsh firm Hugh James Solicitors is swiftly building up a reputation as one of the country’s leading group action specialists, having won every case it has handled.
Now partner Mark Harvey is going into battle once more on behalf of 1,700 users of anti-depressant drug Seroxat. Instructed two years ago, Harvey filed a claim against pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline in December 2004.
Harvey’s victories are not limited to court cases. In the first round of Seroxat, his work prompted a government review into the drug and improved information given to patients. This time he will be seeking compensation for his clients and help to relieve their reliance on Seroxat.
