They have one existing PC partner and are acquiring 5 others with a turnover of £2.1M – say £2.6M in total. That’s well below Brodies, Turcan Connell, Anderson Strathern, Lindsays, Morton Fraser, Thorntons, Gillespie MacAndrew, Pagans, Raeburn Christie, Blackadders and probably a good few other private client departments. I guess a press release that says ” overnight we are around the top 15 in private client work” just doesn’t have the same wow factor….
