Harold Brako
Harold Brako is head of the Manchester office and also a partner in the recoveries services group, heading up the receivables finance and litigation practice.
He specialises in banking and finance litigation and dispute resolution for a broad range of clients in the finance sector, including members of the Asset Based Finance Association (ABFA) and the Finance and Leasing Association (FLA) as well as the major UK clearing banks.
Brako is experienced in handling all aspects of receivables finance, asset finance and banking disputes, including contractual/commercial disputes, recoveries involving fraud, securities enforcement/reviews, injunctive processes and insolvency proceedings. He is noted as ‘sensible and effective’ and ‘one to watch’ by Legal 500 and Chambers.
Brako qualified as a solicitor in 1997 and joined Shoosmiths in 2009 from DLA Piper.
