Hardwicke swoops on 5 Raymond for IP snr jnr

Hardwicke Building has ramped up its IP capabilities with the hire of senior junior Madeleine Heal from 5 Raymond Buildings.

Heal, who was called in 1990, joins as a tenant and will be part of the set's specialist IP group, which is led by Mark Engelman.

Engelman joined the set from 7 New Square last year, as did former Body Shop in-house barrister Ian Silcock.

Hardwicke head Nigel Jones QC said Heal's arrival means the set now covers the patent, trademark, copyright and design right spectrum.

"Madeleine's arrival is part of the development of Hardwicke as an alternative to the established IP sets for solicitors, patent and trademark attorneys, in-house counsel and industry," said Jones.
