The Lawyer Global Litigation Top 50 report is the only ranking of international law firms by litigation and arbitration revenue and is essential reading for anyone seeking to benchmark their litigation and dispute resolution practices...
This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
Harbottle & Lewis has lost its highly-rated head of music Ann Harrison, who has left to set up on her own
Harrison, who acts for individual recording artists in non-contentious matters, told The Lawyer that the majority of her clients will follow her, but refused to name specific artists. Her music department has acted for clients such as Robbie Williams and the now disbanded Hear'Say.
Her new outfit will be run as a consultancy rather than a law firm, but will provide non-contentious legal advice in intellectual property matters.
Harbottles managing partner Samantha Phillips confirmed that Harrison was not one of the people that the firm cut when it made its first ever round of redundancies last month.
"We are very fond of Ann and wish her all the best in her new venture," Phillips said.
Harrison said she left Harbottles because she would rather work on her own than manage a group.
