This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
This is one of three technology deals completed last week by Manchester-based Halliwell Landau. The other two deals were Netcall's admission to AIM and Your-TV & Radio's OFEX floatation.
Obviously, these deals alone are not going to significantly increase Halliwell Landau's turnover or hike it up the league tables. But what they do signify is the firm's ability to provide advice to growing technology, media and telecoms (TMT) companies. It is also proof positive that while the dotcom bubble may have burst, non-main list initial public offerings (IPOs) are still a respected way of raising finance, particularly for smaller companies, and is work that was made for smaller and medium-sized firms.
