Hannes Snellman in profit bonanza

Finland’s Hannes Snellman has recorded a 48 per cent rise in profits, smoothing the way for a new managing partner in 2005. The firm made a post-tax profit of €6.75m (£4.6m) in the last financial year. The previous year profit slumped 10 per cent to €4.56m (£3.1m). Turnover rose 13.6 per cent to €29.3m (£20m) during managing partner Antti Heikinheimo’s (above) final year. Heikinheimo will now pass the reins to star corporate partner and co-head of M&A Johan Aalto in early 2005. First revealed on www.thelawyer.com 29 September
