Peter Crossley has been unanimously elected as Hammonds’ new managing partner after the firm closed its elections early. Crossley, the national firm’s current head of dispute resolution, stood unopposed for the role. In the uncontested election for senior partner, Richard Burns was re-elected for his second three-year term in office. Hammonds’ present managing partner Chris Jones will step down in May next year following nine years in the post.
