Hammonds’ Brussels office has been hit by the resignation of three partners, including office head Konstantinos Adamantopoulos.
Adamantopoulos, along with competition head José Rivas and trade partner Edward Borovikov, have all resigned from the firm and are understood to be considering their options.
Hammonds’ managing partner Peter Crossley confirmed that the trio had resigned from the firm.
As well as being Brussels head, Adamantopoulos is a member of Hammonds’ partnership board, elected in December 2005.
The three partners practice a mixture of trade and competition law, and have particular links to Spanish, Greek and Russian clients as well as the European Commission.
Brussels was Hammonds’ first European office, established in 1990. Finance partner Steven Geerlings and competition and trade specialist Jonathan Branton are its remaining two partners.
