Hammonds has shored up its environmental practice with the hire of Julie Lunt, the former Environment Agency head of legal. Lunt joins the safety, health and environment team in London after seven years with the Environment Agency. She was recently involved in implementing the Pollution Prevention Control Regulations in the power and cement industries. The hire comes amid a period of growth in the team, which focuses on the chemicals, utilities, construction and engineering sectors. Environment Agency lawyer Nick Webb will replace Lunt as head of legal.
