Hammonds head of equity capital markets quits for Hunton & Williams

Hammonds’ head of equity capital markets, Martin Thomas, is leaving to join Hunton & Williams.

The hire will significantly strengthen the US firm’s capital markets practice, in particular within the AIM market. Thomas has acted on over 40 AIM transactions, the majority during the four years he has spent at Hammonds. His clients include Close Brothers and Collins Stewart.

Hunton & Williams’ global capital markets practice numbers over 150 lawyers, with former Theodore Goddard partner Peter Kavanagh working from London.
