The forthcoming Hammonds elections for senior and managing partner will be uncontested, it has emerged today (20 July).
Nominations closed last night, leaving head of commercial dispute resolution Peter Crossley as sole contender for the post of managing partner, to replac e Chris Jones who is standing down after nine years in the post to return to fee-earning.
While current senior partner Richard Burns will stand for a second three-year term, also uncontested.
Partners will now vote on the candidates, with results expected in mid-August.
