Lewis Silkin for property ace” />Halliwells has gained a property partner from Lewis Silkin in a rare loss for the City firm. Adam Perry, who is only the second partner to leave Lewis Silkin since late 2001, started work at Halliwells’ London office last Wednesday (1 June). He was recruited by Halliwells to boost its London property expertise and to support the firm’s existing real estate head Simon Hardwick.

Perry’s practice focuses on commercial real estate, including investment property, property development and landlord and tenant.

Halliwells managing partner Ian Austin said Perry would boost the London real estate team further following other recent hires, including that of Norton Rose senior associate Tim Hart as a partner. “I think it’s excellent news for Simon Hardwick. Getting the right guy to develop that unit is imperative for its growth,” he concluded.

Leonard Goodrich, head of property at Lewis Silkin, said: “His departure is entirely amicable and we’ve sent him off with our very best wishes.”
