Trowers, Hadef, DLA, Simmons, Clifford Chance, Ashurst, etc. Many others have forced people to work in Abu Dhabi or accept reduced benefits. Don’t expect to read much about it though! Reply Link Anonymous 22 April 2009 at 09:46 Why Latham’s didn’t launch in Saudi instead of Abu Dhabi (which is about an hour from Dubai) is beyond ridiculous. Every firm without a Saudi office is now kicking themselves for not having a Saudi presence. Reply Link Anonymous 5 May 2009 at 14:23 Because its extremely difficult to open an office in Saudi due to restrictions like partnership, sponsors, finding a reputable local office etc. Abu Dhabi on the other hand has none of those restrictions.
