The London Borough of Hackney has recruited senior social service lawyer Suzanne Bond from the London Borough of Hillingdon.
Bond, who is also president of the Solicitors in Local Government association, will join Hackney as interim principal lawyer in charge of the children and adults team.
She will report to general counsel Amanda Kelly, who was promoted to the position of borough solicitor following the departure of Meic Sullivan-Gould as director of law and democratic services (The Lawyer, 13 August 2007).
