Guardian nets barrister for litigation boost

The Guardian News and Media group has boosted its litigation team with the hire of barrister Korieh Duodu. Duodu leaves David Price Solicitors and Advocates after seven years to join the media group. In the past he has acted on a number of high-profile cases, including acting for former royal butler Paul Burrell against The Sun newspaper. Duodu, who has co-authored two legal textbooks on defamation, will join the group as a specialist in defamation and privacy matters.
