Görg lures Andersen Luther staff

Corporate partners Clemens Scholz-Remes and Wolf Kansteiner joined Görg on 1 September under office head Ralond Hoffmann-Theinert, who is responsible for the development of the 27-lawyer office.
The move follows the news that a group of Andersen partners in Düsseldorf has joined Bird & Bird to set up it first German office. The team, led by Andersen chief executive and ex-Wessing chairman Wolfgang von Meibom, includes seven partners. The high-profile team joined from Wessing last year; it will come as a blow to Andersen that it has left so soon.
The departures come as Andersen announces merger talks with Ernst & Young.
