Görg cuts two from board in management rejig

Görg Rechtsanwälte has streamlined it management and reorganised its business along sector lines.

The German firm has reduced its management board from five to three partners. The members of the board for the next two years will be Achim Compes, Martin Stockhausen and Roland Hoffmann Theinert. Compes is responsible for administration, Stockhausen for financial management and Hoffmann Theinert for public relations and international communications.

The two partners who have left the board are Ralf Hottgenroth and Mark Kersting.

In addition to the management board, the firm will have an advisory board with a dual guidance and monitoring role.

The members of the advisory board are the heads of the six new business service lines of company law (including M&A and banking), corporate recovery, employment, IT and competition, real estate and public law and media. Each of the firm's four offices in Berlin, Cologne, Essen and Frankfurt will also be represented on the management board.
