Greenberg Traurig Maher has secured business services company Rentokil Initial as a regular client.
Rentokil executive director for corporate development Andy Ransom confirmed that the company will use the US firm’s London office for legal advice. Greenberg London-based partners Fiona Adams and Cate Sharp worked closely with the company while at Mayer Brown.
Greenberg London head Paul Maher said: “We see this as an endorsement of both the new London office of Greenberg Traurig Maher and the wider international firm and its standing.”
Greenberg hired former Mayer Brown co-vice chairman Maher to launch its London arm (The Lawyer, 15 June).
Maher has since been joined by corporate partner Adams and environmental partner Sharp and the firm has rented office space from Mayer Brown in landmark City building the Gherkin.
