Greenberg bulks up London office with lateral hire

Greenberg Traurig Maher has hired former White & Case capital markets partner Tim Jeveons as it begins to build its nascent London office.

Jeveons is set to join the US firm in the coming weeks, bringing the total number of partners in its London office to four.

Last month The Lawyer reported that Jeveons had left White & Case amid disagreements over the firm’s strategic direction (13 July 2009).

Jeveons’ departure followed that of partner Rachel Hatfield, who left the firm ahead of its partner cull (27 March 2009).

Greenberg Traurig launched in London last month after hiring Mayer Brown’s former co-vice-chair Paul Maher (15 June 2009).

Maher was joined by Mayer Brown partners Fiona Adams and Cate Sharp.
