Clifford Chance’s Frankfurt office has lost a team of public procurement lawyers to German firm Görg, as one partner and four associates leave the magic circle firm.
Frankfurt-based public procurement partner, Lutz Horn, who specialises in public private partnership projects, is leaving Clifford Chance. Horn is taking a team of four associates with him. The associates are Kai-Uwe Schneevogl, Steffen Amelung, Petra Keckemeti and Nancy Faeser.
Horn is the third Clifford Chance partner to leave the firm for Görg. Görg head of real estate Jan Lindner-Figura and Wolfgang König were both formerly at the magic circle firm.
Görg Frankfurt partner, Werner Leipnitz said in a statement: “This is a big step forward for our Frankfurt office. The increase in the number of lawyers to 16 consierably raises the profile of our firm’s Frankfurt office.”
Clifford Chance’s Frankfurt office has recently seen some upheavals. In December, Clifford Chance’s Frankfurt office lost rated corporate partner Mario Schmidt, who joined Willkie Farr & Gallagher. In January, Clifford Chance counsel Stephan Gitterman announced his decisioin to join Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw.
