  • Laid off in Saudi?!?!?

You know things are not going well for a firm's Saudi practice when the law firm lays off in Riyadh. Why? Because for starters, its very difficult to get lawyers to come to Saudi in the first place and so it makes sense for a law firm to work hard to keep lawyers in Riyadh (yes, even when things are tough).

By firing lawyers in places like Riyadh, you are not sending a good signal to lawyers who otherwise might have considered moving to Riyadh with your law firm!

Very bad business decision on Trowers' part - good luck recruiting for Riyadh in the future.
