Leading Spanish independent firm Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has appointed four new partners in the latest round of promotions, boosting its partnership by 10 per cent.
Joining the partnership are employment lawyer Silvia Bauzá, IP specialist Sofía Martínez-Almeida, project finance partner Fermín Garbayo and José Manuel Palau, whose practice focuses on town planning and development.
The firm’s partnership now stands at 43 partners and 218 lawyers, spread across eight offices in Spain and one in Brussels.
The firm is the eighth largest in Spain with a revenue in 2005 of £42.7m. Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has been following an expansion strategy in the last few years, snapping Mullerat’s Madrid office in summer last year and announcing plans to launch an office in London.
