David Geen joins from Goldman Sachs International, where he served as executive director and senior counsel in its legal department. Prior to working at Goldman Sachs International, he was a partner at Baker & McKenzie in London.
ISDA’s chief executive officer Robert Pickel said: "David brings to ISDA significant legal and documentation experience and expertise in the privately negotiated derivatives business, through both his work at member firms and as an active participant in ISDA committees.”
There has been some turnover of Goldman Sachs lawyers recently with general counsel Terry Miller joining the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games.
Geen joins ISDA with immediate effect and will be based at the global financial trade association’s London offices.
