Spanish firm Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has appointed nine new partners, increasing the total number at the firm to 65.
The decision to appoint the nine new partners was approved at the firm’s general partners’ meeting on 21 December. The appointments will become effective on 1 January.
The majority of those made up are based in Madrid. Corporate lawyers Sergio Antón, Estibaliz Aranburu and Rubén Ferrer, litigation specialist Gonzalo Ardila and banking and finance experts Santiago Gómez-Acebo and Verónica Romaní all join the partnership in the firm’s head office in Spain’s capital.
Outside Madrid, banking and finance lawyer María García de la Concha and corporate specialist Daniel Marín were made up in Vigo and Barcelona respectively.
Miguel Troncoso, a competition lawyer in the firm’s Brussels office also made partner.
