The Greater London Authority (GLA) has hired Sutton Council legal chief Fiona Ledden as head of law and procurement.
Ledden replaces Thelma Stober, who left the role last August after less than a year in office. Ledden is due to join the GLA at the end of March, until which time interim legal chief Charlie Aiden will continue to deputise.
Ledden joined Sutton Council as a childcare lawyer in 1991 and became executive head of legal and democratic services in 2004.
