Those wacky property lawyers: whatever will they do next? A bunch of Ashurst lawyers dressed up as the Spice Girls and sang Wannabe last week for Party Near the Park 3, an event held in aid of Central London children’s theatre The Unicorn. The lawyers followed in the footsteps of Canary Wharf Group in-house counsel Michael Ashley-Brown, who wowed the crowds last year with a dragged-up rendition of Stand by Your Man.
However, as seasoned Spice watchers will notice from the photograph, there was something not quite right about the Ashurst act – one particular Spice was ill and didn’t turn up. It seems that Ashurst is not as Posh as we thought.
