Gilles Amsallem is highly specialised in business and company law, mergers and acquisitions, LBOs operations, restructuring, contracts drafting and negotiation.
He acts primarily for major media entertainment and technology clients including press, publishing, advertising, IT and sports companies. He is also renowned for advising US investors who want to settle down in France.
After completing PhD in business law with the Aix-Marseille University, Amsallem has served as in house counsel for Thomson in Paris then Singapore and France Telecom (FCR).
In 1995, Amsallem joined one of the ‘Big 4’ firms where he has been leading Legal Media Communication Network for Europe and was responsible for the development of the Sports sector. He was one of the founders of Taylor Wessing France in 2003, and is Managing Partner and Head of Corporate since then.
Amsallem regularly publishes articles in the French press (Les Echos, Option Finance, Le Magazine des Affaires) and is acting as a Consultant of the ESSEC French High School.
