New York-based Kevin Kelly, with a book of business worth around $3m (£1.6m), joined Gibson Dunn last Monday (15 March).
Last September M&A and securities expert Kenneth Lamb relocated to Gibson Dunn’s London office after rejoining from CIBC World Markets, where he moved to in 2001 from San Francisco.
Kelley’s move is a blow to Clifford Chance New York, which has seen a raft of exits over the past 18 months. While the majority have been legacy Rogers & Wells lawyers, Kelley historically hailed from Clifford Chance.
