Well isn't Clifford Chance the precious little darling. Tulkinghorn hears that the firm - or more specifically London managing partner Peter Charlton - threw a bit of a wobbler when he found out that Gensler, the architectural firm charged with doing up the Canary Wharf site, had shown some people around the building.
Apparently a poor soul had to be sent round to Clifford Chance to calm the seething partner down. Although one can almost understand it: if moving offices was costing you an extra £26m, you'd want to protect your investment.
