Germany’s Heuking turns to Beiten Burkhardt for partner hire

German firm Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek has appointed a Beiten Burkhardt partner of 12 years to its Frankfurt office.

Günther Bredow will join Heuking as a partner within the next couple of months and will reinforce the areas of corporate finance, M&A, private equity, banking and capital market law.

“After 12 successful years at Beiten Burkhardt, I’m looking forward to joining the new highly entrepreneurial and dynamic environment at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek,” said Bredow.

“From the beginning on, I’ve been especially intrigued by the opportunity to further develop and advance the Frankfurt office jointly with the Heuking team and the excellent colleagues.”

Bredow has experience of transactions for both banks and large and midcap enterprises, including public takeovers.

“Dr Bredow is one of the best and top revenue-generating corporate finance and M&A partners in the Frankfurt market,” said Andreas Urban, managing partner at Heuking.

“His competence and experience in transaction law and his comprehensive network in forward-looking industries will benefit the entire law firm.”
