Germany's Heuking seals alliance with Brazilian firm

German firm Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek has formed an alliance with Brazilian firm Veirano Advogados.
As part of the non-exclusive collaboration, Heüking has created a Brazilian desk in Germany and Veirano a German desk in Brazil.
Denison Caldeiron, a Brazilian lawyer who worked at Veirano between 2004 and 2007, will man Heuking’s Brazil desk in Frankfurt. In São Paulo, Veirano associate Jorge Cesa will head his firm’s German desk.
The law firms will jointly advise Brazilian companies that want to invest in Germany on German law and German companies on Brazilian law, as well as offering partners and associates secondment opportunities.
Both firms have worked together as members of the World Services Group network for a number of years.
