Germany's Graf opens Istanbul office

German firm Graf von Westphalen is to open an Istanbul office in cooperation with local Turkish outfit GSI Meridian.

The office is due to open at the beginning of October and Graf will advise on inbound transactions in Turkey as well as advising Turkish companies on expanding into Europe and China.
“The joint venture with GSI Meridian gives us the opportunity to open the Turkish market for our clients and ourselves with a first-class partner,” said Robert Theissen, one of the managing partners at Graf.
“With this, we want to repeat the success story of our Shanghai office that was opened three years ago. Based on this experience as well as our excellent partner GSI Meridian, we are very confident that we will achieve the same soon.”
