CMS Hasche Sigle has appointed 11 new partners in a bumper promotions round for the German firm.
The appointments, more than double the five promotions made in 2010, are spread across five areas of practice and several of the firm’s offices.
Managing partner Cornelius Brandi said CMS Hasche Sigle remained “on a growth trajectory” and had performed well in 2010.
The firm’s Cologne office gained two new partners with corporate lawyer Malte Bruhns and IP-focused Carsten Menebröcker both made up. In Düsseldorf, tax lawyer Thomas Gerdel and corporate specialist Marcel Hagemann become partners.
Hamburg also saw two promotions, with commercial specialist Andreas Heim and corporate associate Sebastian Orthmann getting the nod. In Leipzig, Jörg Lips becomes a corporate partner. Commercial lawyer Andreas Heim and corporate associate Martin Kolbinger boost the Munich partnership, while in Stuttgart competition lawyer Rolf Hempel and banking associate Marc Seibold are also promoted.
