Ganado & Associates, Advocates is a well established law firm in Malta and traces its roots to the early 1900s. From its earliest days, Ganado & Associates, Advocates has been one of the protagonists in local legal practice and has contributed specifically to Malta's internationally recognised reputation as a centre for financial services and maritime law.

It is currently the largest legal firm in Malta, with over 50 lawyers (14 partners) supported by over 60 staff. The firm is specialized mainly in financial services (banking, investment services and funds, insurance and trusts) and shipping (litigation, shipping companies and finance and ship registration). It has departments in other practice areas such as general litigation, general corporate, corporate secretarial and governance, taxation and labour law. New areas of development are environmental, energy and aviation law.

Ganado & Associates, Advocates enjoys an excellent reputation at national and international level and has relationships with many major firms in Europe, New York and many other countries. The Firm is also active in the promotion of legal education and academia. It has established and runs a legal training institute (The Institute of Legal Studies) and many of its lawyers lecture in various educational institutions, including the University of Malta.
