Texas-based firm Fulbright & Jaworski has ramped up its Middle Eastern capabilities with the hire of one partner and the reassignment of another into its Dubai office.
Litigator David Silver, who has been based in the Emirates for the last 10 years, joins the firm from Qatar firm Hassan Al- Khater. He assumes his position as partner in Dubai later this month.
Meanwhile, partner David Moroney relocates from London and will serve as head of the firm’s middle east energy practice.
It is hoped the new arrangement will enhance the firm’s service to energy clients in need of guidance on Middle East projects.
John Lonsberg, head of Fulbright’s Middle East practice, said: “Our Middle East team brings the skill, knowledge of the legal landscape and decades of on-the-ground experience.”
