Fulbright & Jaworski’s London office has bolstered its projects capacity with two high-profile hires from Vinson & Elkins and Denton Wilde Sapte.
The firm has poached rated UK project finance lawyer Christopher Clement-Davies from US rival Vinson, where he spent the past seven years.
Former Denton Wilde Sapte international managing partner David Moroney also joined the firm as of counsel after retiring from DWS last year.
Moroney was appointed Dentons international managing partner in 1999 from managing partner of the firm’s Asian offices. His appointment coincides with the recent launch of Fulbright’s Middle East offices in Dubai and Riyadh.
Fulbright London managing partner Stephen Vogel said: “Project finance is one of our areas we are striving to build in London, and will continue to do so.”
Firm chairman Steven Pfeiffer said: “Clement-Davies helps greatly to broaden Fulbright’s growing worldwide capabilities [and] developing further our international network continues to be a major focus for the firm.”
Clement-Davies practices in project development and finance, international energy deals, banking, infrastructure and cross-border transactions, including private equity, and worked on the privatisation of the UK electricity and rail industries.
