Lovells' gentle smokers have lived in relative luxury ever since the firm moved into its Atlantic House headquarters back in 2000.
For in the prohibitive 21st century, when all smokers are seen as pariahs, puffers at the firm have been allowed to enjoy their guilty pleasure in a specially designated smoking room.
However, with the smoking ban in effect since yesterday (1 July), the smokers have been cruelly turfed out onto the streets. Consequently Lovells is seeking suggestions on how best to use the room from now on.
Among the ideas so far mooted is a multi-faith prayer room, but the ideas box will be open until this Friday (6 July). Answers on a postcard, please (or email, if you must).
